$120 shipped!
For sale: lightly used Yukon differential cover for the Sterling 11.6 axle. Nodular iron, and made to be abused. Great for those that venture off the beaten path. Magnetic fill and drain plugs. The fill is at the correct level, should you choose to use it. Hardware included but you should purchase a new OEM gasket.
Full disclosure: I checked with the UPS store near me and they said $89 to ship it to Tacoma WA. I’m just pricing it so I cover shipping and maybe a 40 for the drive. Just kidding, I don’t drink and drive 🤪

Not sure where Takoma is... but Tacoma is close to home :ROFLMAO:

I had my eye on the FP version, otherwise I'd be interested. Objectively, the Yukon is probably a better/stronger unit than the FP, but I'm a sucker for OEM things.

GLWS.

Thanks!
Damn the phone again! Ta”k”oma is a town near here in Maryland. It’s Takoma Park.

$80 seems a lot for UPS ground. What's the size of the box and weight?

I might get very slightly cheaper rates, but Pirate Ship is pretty reasonable. This a quote from Arlington, VA to Seattle, WA

I’ve heard of Pirate Ship, but never really looked into it any further than “create an account”. As little as I send stuff anywhere, it hasn’t been worth the time TBH.

It's free and just gets you much better pricing as they leverage their total volume to get discounts from the respective carriers. Something to consider in the future if you want to save a few bucks versus the retail price you pay at the UPS store.

Out of curiosity, I checked to see what it would cost to ship that box from you to Spokane, WA and my direct rate with UPS is $28.23 for ground.

Guess it varies by region. All I can say is what they they quoted me. I’m happy to show the receipt to anyone when it’s sold.

I do believe the rate you were quoted in the store. Not saying you're wrong or being deceptive. You were just quoted the retail counter price, while Pirate Ship and going direct via UPS Worldship platform gets access to different rate codes. It's like buying a plane ticket at the airport versus going online or using other avenues. The retail counter price is always the most expensive. If that's all you're willing to do, that's perfectly valid. It just means you or whomever ever is paying the tab pays more. Certainly nothing wrong with that if that works best for you.

The entire exchange from me on this was simply an observation about the price you listed as it seemed high versus what I pay to ship similar sized packages of whiskey across the country. My two data points validate that the price is high by comparison. This was simply an exercise in curiosity on my side. I have no intention to pressure or persuade you to take any different action than what works best for you.

I'll leave this discussion here as it doesn't need to be a debate. I do apologize if my posts on this have caused any frustration.

Can always offer to let the buyer send you a shipping label. I do that a lot as a buyer including on here.
