Worth the effort to swap from F to E rated?

The 2024 I just bought came with quite new tires either form the dealer or last owner before trade in. They are a Falken Wildpeak but in a F rated pure 35” versus a 285 E rated. I’ve seen some pretty solid deals on factory size tires on marketplace and am considering making the swap and selling the F’s.

At the end of the day, would the swap make much a difference in ride quality as it’s definitely stiff, even at 50 front and 45 rear right now.

I've never ran an "F" tire but I would imagine E would be softer for sure. Just maybe not noticable. However, I did go from a C to an E on my old f150 because the Cs were way too soft for my comfort when towing. That was a huge difference in ride "quality". It went from a Cadillac ride unloaded/squirmy with load or towing to a pothole hopper unloaded to perfection when loaded or towing(anything less than a half full dump trailer) now, because of my loads and towing, I would never go under E. Almost looked for F tires this go around, just liked the E set I ended up with.

You might notice a slightly stiffer ride. In my experience the biggest difference is if the truck is loaded down, the F tires will wear quickly.

Why would the F tires wear quicker when loaded? Isnt that the whole point is that they wouldnt?

I have the 35x12.5x20 Falken Wildpeak AT4W Load Range F tires on my truck. They are fantastic. No abnormal wear patterns. Ride is similar to the E rated tires I have used previously. Between my last truck 12 F250 6.7 and my current 23. (had the dealer swap the wheel and tire package between the trucks). They probably have 20-25k on them and still have 16/32 rear and 17/32 front. They come with 19/32

IMO def not worth the swap until you wear them out. But even then doubt you will see much of a difference in ride quality. These trucks aren't Raptors, they ride like a big heavy truck with solid axles.
