I mean I am a mechanical engineer, with Solidworks, and a Bambu Lab X2D 3D printer. However, I don't particularly feel like purchasing one of these though for reverse engineering. Maybe I'll tinker with something.

Also, just watched his video again. He did say it costs $0.05...

He also states even if it’s $30-$40(which most would buy even being that high)but Ford dictate the price not dealers. And yes for the price showing on this now, it is ridiculous.

I've got a Handyscan Black Elite, Geomagic Design X, and Bambu H2D so I can do this. Looking at the time investment, what are you guys thinking would be a fair price if I take this on? I could also sell the print file for a lot cheaper for those who want to print themselves. Help me gauge this for those that are interested.

Those of you here who say they ain’t paying for this or that cheap piece of plastic from Ford, have you done anything to protect your fuse box already?

Anything? Or you’re all just yapping?

I know i have done something, and i will gladly spend more for a robust solution to further insulate it, Ford or aftermarket. Just ask those who had to have the fusebox replaced how they liked that experience.

Looks like the coin tray at a cash register. Bet they offer a option package to collect and roll your change for free on the 2028's.
