This is probably not the correct forum, but I couldn't find one that seemed better. I have installed a new HD display and two cameras for our trailer. One is mounted on the back of the trailer as usual in the other will be a license plate camera pointing to the front. The question is the display. I'm going to mount it in the depression area of the center of the top of the dashboard. I know how to find in route an uplifter switch wire to the license plate, but I'm struggling to figure out how to get one to go through the dashboard to where the display will be mounted. Any anybody have experiences here? 2024 F-250 Platinum Tremor with Godzilla

If I'm following this correctly, you'll need to connect the passthru wires in the engine bay to your upfitter of choice. Tap the corresponding pass through wire in the passenger kick panel to your monitor wire (assuming you're looking for 12v on demand). Then you can drop the felt insulator under the passenger dash, drop the glove box(like completely as if doing HVAC filter). Then remove the center dash speaker from tray. You should them be able to pass the wire from "floorboard" to upper dash with some fishing tool.

Otherwise you might need to pull the radio too.

That makes sense. Just need to figure out the fishing the wire part and crest a hole in the upper dash area. This photo is the area I am discussing. It's right above and behind the truck display. I will start poking around and see what I can see up there, but I'm a little cautious on this. I guess if worse comes the worse I can have the Ford guys do it at the shop when I have it in for my next maintenance. Don't really want to do that, but I also don't want to screw something up on a new truck.

And of course, thank you very much for the reply

That should all pop up just like it does on the smaller dash trucks. You need to research which to take loose first to expose fasteners or small bolts. Something along this should help you...
