Tremors and Campers let's talk camping!!

So I’ve decided on my next mod. Yesterday was my shakedown cruise of the Tremor and my new travel trailer. I felt the Tremor towed fine and really didn’t know the trailer was there except for the fuel mileage. I didn’t reset the mpg but 225 ish miles and I used 3/4 of a tank. So I’ve decided to upgrade to the S&B 60 gallon fuel tank.

Bought Yondu (2021 7.3l) specifically for the Milano (2021 Jayco Eagle HT 284bhok). So far no complaints on either. Pulls just fine, using the husky centerline ts hitch/weight distribution/sway control. Getting around 8mpg pulling, 13mpg un-hitched.

True, it tows it like it's a kite. I've had a few 1/2 tons towing and IMHO a superduty just makes the job so much easier. Airstreams are pricey and honestly, its like camping in a hallway. It was a camper my wife and I always wanted. There are a lot of high quality campers out there.

Do you recommend any aluminum frame units?
 
First official camping trip in the books with this truck. 4hr trip one direction. I can JUST make it on one tank of fuel (6.7 Diesel). Averaged 11.1 for the total 8hr trip. I'm very happy with that.

Weighed the rig on the way back, my first time using a scale. I have to admit I felt like a total idiot, felt like I was stepping on the toes of truck drivers trying to make a living. I was very courteous and made quick work of it, but just felt out of place. Anyway.... Below is a pic of my weigh ticket for those interested. I need to mess with my WD hitch and weigh the truck empty, with and without WD on and all that so I can really get this thing dialed in. But at this point I just wanted to see where I stood and get an idea of what my loaded total was. Also included some random camping pictures because camping is awesome.

I’m going at 10am to get mine out of storage. I drove around all morning yesterday to get my last 100 miles on it to hit 1000 miles before I tow. Yup. I’m one of the paranoid ones. Lol

The Cirrus is a great truck camper, however we needed more room as we are going to be living out of it this summer. We’re building a house and want to be onsite. I think the Cirrus 820 is one of the top campers currently on the market. Lots of things Cirrus has that I wish Black Series was doing with their camper.
