I know I did a lot of reading on this forum and a lot of people helped me out along the way with airbag setups, tow ratings, hitches, etc, etc.

We finally got our toy hauler in today. Grand Design Momentum 351m-r, 14.4k lbs as she sits. I upgraded to Airlift 5000 w/ the EZ compressor system. Installed the Reese Goosebox on the hauler. Fox ATS 2.0 steering stabilizer. BW OEM Gooseball (the 3ish inch elevated one).

The 6.7 pulled like an absolute champ. Didnt feel the need to upgrade sway bars after the trip. Handled great. The Reese Goosebox was an awesome upgrade as far as ride quality goes. I will have to be vigilant on the nose not clipping the back of the truck but I got some pretty deep angles and turns with it, more than I anticipated. Airlift bags were great to take out sag and keep things level. Honestly, I was very surprised about how this thing towed. Super stable. Just wanted to thank everyone that I chatted with in making decisions and helping out along the way with my questions. Our trucks are beasts.

The only thing I may have done differently would have not opted into the OEM puck system so I could have installed a BW turnover. That would have allowed me to run the 4'' offset ball and probably would have taken away all concerns about the rear cab.

Thanks fellas, enjoy yalls trucks.

Very nice! I had the same experience pulling our Sundowner TH last week, very happy with the Tremor and you’re right they are beasts. Did you run it across a scale by chance? Curious what the pin weight is on your TH. Also how much air did you put into the airbags?

I did not run across scales. Factoring 20% for pin weight would put me at 2800ish. I saved at least 200lbs by forgoing the hitch and getting the goosebox. I would assume I will be very close or over my payload of 33xx once we are loaded down but its just me, my wife, and my French Bulldog. We travel light. Anything heavy will go in the garage to offset some off the pin. Will probably never travel with water in our tanks, doubt say we will boondock any. The fuel tanks for the generator/toys is under the garage, that will be the only thing that gets filled if we are doing a night boondock on our way to the destination.

I ran 20lbs in the bags. Seemed to level it out pretty well. Not sure it needed much more than that if any.

Just be cognizant of the airbag on the goosebox compressing while making a sharp turn backing up. My buddy made contact with his cab because that happened.
congratulations btw the. It’s beautiful

Thanks for that tidbit. Had not heard of that before but will definitely be cognizant of it. I will be doing pull throughs for a while until I get used to backing it. I backed it around on our property on some uneven ground and it did pretty good but I got this thing to relax in, may as well take advantage of easy sites haha.

i ordered the reese goosebox and 6.7 tremor. LOL have not received either yet. I pull a 39 foot cougar now with a lifted 2008 dmax. with the pullrite setup. wanted to have my bed back as i go from camping to needing my bed back, so i wanted to try the goosebox. i really want the 4.5 carli setup with long travel airbags but pretty sure i will need to raise camper with 2 inch lift and larger tires. guess i will see how it sits stock. i agree with the offset ball comment. we need one for puck system
