So I’ve seen some YouTube videos about the issue and seen some post on here about it so I thought I’d share my experience.
It’s most noticeable when hitching to a trailer but I think I’ve found a work around. If you go to neutral for just a brief pause before goi g to park there is 0 movement even without the parking brake applied. I use this method as well when parking in my garage. I pull in and put the truck into reverse to see the door seal line and typically leave less than a foot. I then go to neutral prior to goi g to park and it doesn’t move the couple of inches it does without doing this.
Going to neutral prior to reverse or drive briefly keeps the 1-2 inch occasional leech from happening for me too.
Question for our diesel brothers. Does the 6.7 behave this way as well or just the 7.3?
