Trailer running lights always on

Something tells me that right now is not the time to be tempting the Canadian gov with anything concerning a truck... maybe it is just me... LOL... HONK!!!

I'm in the states, so I can care less.
But my truck was built for Canada.
I am pretty sure Canada requires the parking lights to be on with DRLs starting in 2020. Therefore, the parking lights also put power to trailer running lights.
Does anyone know the BCM code in Forscan to disable this?

I was able to figure out the location and coding for the parking lamps on with DRLs on 2020-up trucks.
the lamps were indeed enabled with DRLs. Changed them to disabled. Not sure if the running light issue is fixed, it was dark out and I didn't test. will check today

2020+, here's the line item:
DRL w/Parking Lamps BdyCm-BCM 726-38-01 xxxx xxxx x0xx 0=Disable 1=Enable

I do not know if this works on the '22 trucks.

I can confirm this works. I checked the plain english side first and my parking lamps with DRLs were enabled. On the as built side, 1 was in the place to enable them.
I changed parking lamp/DRL to disable on the plain english side, then checked the as built side. The value was changed to 0

i an pretty sure it was just the trailer running lights. I know in 2021 Canada changed the rule again and require the tail running lights to be on during the day as well.

trailer running lights only come on now when the dial is physically switched to parking lights or the headlights come on.
