My truck was loaded onto a rail car last week I reached out to my dealer and got the rail car number so I could use use the CSX phone tracking. I called in and went through the voice prompt process to check status. It worked great that being said I hate using voice response systems. I build...

No way that I have heard of, unless you know someone at that particular railyard...
most tracking of the rail system even the VVR can lag behind real time by as much as 24 hours. sometimes it doesnt update at all. besides getting into train spotting and stalking the rail yard there wont be any way to know.

Agree with this... the most reliable method I have experienced is the CSX touchtone system.
