I’m thinking of picking up a set of 18x9 Fuel Beasts. Do I need new TPM sensors or can I just swap in the OEMs?

Thanks,

You can swap OEMs. There's a cost balance there that's going to depend on the shop you have doing the work and what all you are getting done.

For example, if you bought new wheels and new tires -- you'd have to unmount your old tires to get the TPMS off. They may charge you for that. Then you may not want those separate because they'd take up more room. They'd probably charge you to re-mount them. Then when you have a potential buyer -- they're going to account for having to buy new sensors and have them put on, too. So it could be cheaper in the overall scheme of things to just buy new TPMS sensors.

Most places will throw in TPMS sensors for free if you buy the wheels and tires from the same shop, as well as free mount and balance.
