Not a fan of the single chrome tip on my Borla s-type. Considering cutting it off or doing a turn-down off the muffler.

Curious if anyone has done any towing with this setup. Airflow should pull the exhaust and heat out, but passenger rear shock could get heated up.

I dont tow, but run a turndown on my current truck and on my previous truck, and the last thing I was concerned about with it was any components getting too hot,

My Ram 6.4 the muffler broke off the Y-pipe in Western Oklahoma. I towed all the way to Red River. NM and back to Tulsa like that with no issues other than the noise. I put a Magnaflow catback on it, I liked the sound but I hated the giant exhaust tips. If I had of kept the truck I would have taken the last piece off so it would have essentially dumped right behind the axle.

Probably would be less brave with a diesel, but I assuming you have a gasser since you mention the Borla.
