Google maps is great for normal usage, but it doesn't account for any trailer specific things.

So what are you using as an alternative for on-screen navigation that *does* take those things into account?

Garmin RV890
At first I was thinking man what a waste of $. But after reading about it I'm starting to see the benefits. Like the OP I'd prefer to just use my phone, I'm wondering if there's something like that (maybe even a Garmin app??) for our phones.
Curious though, does it take into account the length of your trailer and all that for fuel stations as well?? I'm pulling a 40ft bumper pull and it can get a lil' tight at times in some of those fuel stations.

There are some subscription based apps (like Togo RV) that provide a level of RV based NAV. I haven't tried one extensively as I don't want to get involved with a subscription.

I don't know of any app/device that factors rig size into fuel stations. I think that's a level of detail that would be unmanageable.
