2027 Expedition Tremor
I'm new here with a 27 Expedition Tremor. When I use navigation in Google Maps or Waze, my phone and both displays show me a map. The phone shows details like mileage and ETA, while the Ford only shows the map, so you end up looking at the phone anyway. I'm trying to decide if this is just poor UX design or if I have something set up incorrectly. If I use CarPlay, I can even get another view of it, making four different navigation views when only one is needed. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a setting to change? Thanks!

Not sure you''re going to get any help since this is the SuperDuty Tremor Forum and it sounds like based on your description, we don't have that issue.

We went looking at expedition tremors.

Ended up getting a used Timberline instead.

We couldn't figure out how to work the dashboard in the new ones. The older one has the same controls and steering wheel as my truck, so it was more intuitive and familiar.

Neither of us could live with the new tech and the square steering wheel.

The Timberline has the HO 3.5 from the f150 Raptor. Not sure if the new Tremor does.

Totally jealous of your tires and stance though, and that sliding console is pretty cool if it lasts. It seemed a little wobbly to us.

Best of luck to you, they are impressive vehicles.... Just not sold on the "new and improved" interface.

I hope you figure out how to set it up the way you want it.

We just replaced our 22' Expedition Timberline with a 27 Expedition Tremor. I think that is in the set up. I haven't been able to play around much yet but I know that the map display on the dash will only use the google map from the trucks navigation. But you should be able to get Waze via carplay to display on the infotainment screen like it does on your phone screen.

Our Timberline was rock solid no issues at all. Great vehicle for sure. I dumped the factory goodyear tires for Falken Wildpeak AT4W's and that made a huge difference. The new Tremor Pirelli tires look great we will see how they do in the snow/ice compared to the Wildpeaks. The Pirelli's love to pick up and release rocks into the underside of the running boards......
