Stock Tremor

Has anyone but me noticed that every Tremo person who kept their truck stock....then went on to list the stuff they added??

Buy more duck tape for them wallets...lol

The Sulastic shackles really make a difference and I would highly recommend. It literally feels like a different truck and no change in capacities. Takes less than an hour on each side with basic tools.
Exactly what difference do Sulastic shackles make? Do they wear out or get soft over time?
Thanks

Best to watch the videos out there to see how they work, very simple principle with amazing results. As for durability, they are a moving dynamic part so they obviously can wear out like shocks. The exact same technology is used in torsion axils and has been used for decades. Three year full replacement warranty.

with the exception of adding superficial improvements like a tonneau cover, mats, mudflaps, bed mat and window visors... I have no intention to modify anything on the truck.

all of my previous vehicles have been modified and it always comes back to the same thing, i end up spending a lot of money to make them drive worse.. ride harsher, engine louder etc..

no deletes for me... just a rigorous maintenance schedule with high quality fluid and filters and a 8yr extended platinum ford warranty.

Yep, other than the bed cover and tint, everything else I did was to keep it looking as is. The cover is the same one I could have gotten with the truck anyway.

One of my other vehicles is getting 40's and more HP and TQ than the 7.3 puts out so this one could but I have no desire to mess with any of it, perfect the way it sits.

Stock. I really don't consider floor liners a "mod".

I thought Ford nailed the concept in a Goldilocks kind of way.

Now for those guys that are modding them in a big way. Good for you. Have fun. I'll watch.

I was one to always modify my vehicles. I don't know if it's because I'm getting old now or I just haven't owned this nice of a truck before, but I have no desire to modify my tremor.

Granted, I have added a few things like a tonneau cover, bed liner, bed step...things that actually improve it's day to day usability.

This is also my first truck that I bought an extended warranty (7 year / 100k premium care). Love the truck, but I wanted the reassurance that I'm covered if anything happens with the unproven 10 speed / 7.3 platform.

Stock. I added a soft bed cover, but I don't consider that a "modification" since it would take about as long to remove it as it would to remove my ball mount and license plate holder.

I used to be one of those people that buys a new ride and drops 20-40k on all sorts of mods. As I get older I mod less and less.. When I first ordered my Tremor I was on board to do a full Carli with some InnoV8 wheels. But now I think I am just going to do PPF , ceramic coating and go one size up on the tires and thats it. You never get back any of the money you spend on mods plus the headaches of dealing with the shop doing your work is just not worth it.

I've added a couple of simple things so far that have not altered the drivetrain, suspension or engine. My favorite is the center console safe which blurs my alleged 4th amendment rights. I will be adding a snow plow next month (scheduled on Oct 12th). Once my factory tires are sufficiently worn, I'll probably go with a new wheel/tire set (I hate the factory black wheels) and possibly a minor suspension change if I go with an oversize tire, but I am in no hurry to do that. I am enjoying the base-truck as-is for now.

Added a bed cover and bilstien shocks.

Im hoping to add the dirt church on board air system after the holidays but that is about it.

Just wanted to say I am duly impressed with the number of folks here that are able to buy a Tremor, in any trim level, and drop another huge chunk of money into cool accessories.

How many out there running a stock Tremor with the idea that its already tricked out?
My '20 6.7 350 Platinum has 100k miles, its perfectly stock, and works perfectly well.
