I am referring to a Starlink V5 home install. I've had a mini for about a year now.

Living in the blastoff zone of the new Starbase Louisiana, Brother Elon made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
It's installed on the eave and the router that came with it is in my equipment closet. The signal is fine in the den, where the equipment closet is. However, the signal is weak in the bedroom.

I have used boosters before, but I just wanted to see if any of you folks have a similar situation and solution.

Cajunisim of the day,
If your Cajun friend comes up to you and says "mais bruh", pay close attention. He's helping you out of a possible shitstorm.

the starlink routers function as a mesh if you purchase additional ones, if you prefer to stay with that system in leu of going into bridge mode and finding your own router mesh I would do that. Some wireless routers (such as TPLink Deco) can function in AP mode and avoids the bridge issue but you still have to connect a base station TPLink to the starlink router.

We have like 4 starlink routers at my FiL property and it works really well. If you have network through out hte house (assuming since you said network closet) you can wired backhaul additional starlink mesh routers all day long.

Do you have that thing all the way at the peak of the roof? Lightning is gonna smack that thing and take out your AV closet... 😉🤣🤣

Just installed a v5 at the lease, the router/access point is ok, but I’ll be replacing it with something better for coverage and security
