Sirius XM Radio subscription yes/no?

Ok, Have the trial Sirius XM Radio and considering a subscription......years past I heard it was difficult cancelling as they had your CC #. Anyone subscribe and can say cost/value of it?
XM great....got it on my other 2 cars...love it

love my xm...hasd it for years.. (y)

great value I use the app on my phone for when I'm not in my truck for ear buds and back yard speakers. Make sure you call them when your trial period is up and you can usually talk XM into a bargain. a vet/active duty military discount is available.

I have never paid more than $4.99 per month per subscription, I have 3 right now. Been that way for many years, got it around 2005. Once you know the game its simple and hassle free.

I would never give it up. I'm on the road a lot and often away from good "over the air" stations or in between cities.

It does sometimes suffer from the "I have 300 stations and nothing good is on" though...

Not something that I would give up now. Had it in all of my vehicles for years now and when on frequent long road trips, it is just awesome!

Well, only if you're in Somalia and can't afford $5/month.

It's a giant pain to cancel even when selling a vehicle. I have it because I routinely find myself on large swaths of road without cell/data coverage and want something to listen to.

I buy this package: SiriusXM Music & Entertainment 6 Month
It is $40.25 total with all taxes and fees and there is enough music for me. I tell them I don't have a credit card and will pay by check. Invoice comes in the mail and I pay it. The bill after 6 months will go up so you have to call every 6 months. I always insist on speaking with someone in the USA and it does take time to get switched over to a US person.

I used to pay extra for Stern but his covid lectures got boring.

I have had XM radio for quite sometime now and haven’t had any issues canceling or added service. At least not yet. I do enjoy not having all those commercials.

Same. $100 a year. I enjoy sports and talk radio, 1 stop shop. I have Apple Music also but when I’m in a vehicle, XM is on.

Today I received an offer from SiriusXM 3 years for $99.....
The recipient of this mail is the guy who lived 10 years ago in this house.
As you can see SiriusXM will never lose or delete you data and you will never get rid of them.
This is for me one of the main reason that I never will purchase this stuff.

I’m adding on to the existing plan I already have on other vehicles ….like it alot

I've tried to like it.

I don't care about the sports or talk channels.
I think Howard Stern is an old leftist ass.
And I dislike how they curate their stations according to modern sensitives...

What do I mean?
Well, listen to the 90s channel for a while; see if that's what you remember the radio sounding like.
As a point of comparison, download spotify and browse comparable playlists - not curated by activist corporate interests.
It's an entirely different experience.

It's cheaper.
There's offline listening.
There's no contracts.
Plus you can do audio books.

I'll add that their libraries seem shallow. If you listen for a long time, you'll definitely notice songs repeating.

I just renewed 3 of my Ford vehicles at this $4.99/mth promo for 2 years. Actual cost is $6.06/mth with taxes/fees. Took at total of 15 minutes as they had to read the T&C’s for each vehicle. Super simple and at an annual cost of $72/yr, I’m happy with the deal.

Okay, you got a sale.
I'm talking about everyday pricing.
And not having to deal with manipulative telephone customer service dances, contract rates, or corporate activism.
But I'm happy you're happy.

Wasn’t coming at you on this at all, just confirming the deal Loshad mentioned is still being offered past the September 9 date. To each their own, I’m not promoting or discouraging for anyone, do what works best for you.
