Silver Spruce Has Landed....

It's everything I thought it would be and more. Just blown away at how awesome this truck is. Picked it up yesterday after work and spent all of today doing the little things. Moved all my gear into the rear under seat storage (hitches, jumper cables, tow/yank straps, D rings, first aid kit, waters, gloves, packable shovel, gear ties, tool set, etc etc. Installed Husky mats over vinyl floor, Bakflip F1 and rattle caned the stock exhaust tip with high temp black. Looks infinitely times better (my wife said that's the first thing I should have done she hated the shiny exhaust tip ha).

DId you remove your exhaust tip before ya canned it ?

Oh ya, i took a glance at it yesterday, seen some bolts and such, but that makes sense. how was your overspray, or did you tape up pretty good?
I should have taken a picture. I broke down the boxes from the Husky mats and framed around the exhaust and it worked out real well. No tape needed!

Re: blacked out exhaust

I haven't driven it a ton and only down a couple dirt roads a short distance, but I'm already seeing some rock nicks on the exhaust. I touched it up a bit and went further back a little ways to the first hanger. I don't have any mudflaps or anything although had been thinking I should add some. I had Weathertechs on all 4 corners of my F150. Looking at the oem ones now. That may prevent rocks kicking up on the exhaust a bit, however, I have a feeling that might be a long term issue with just a basic rattle can job there. Time will tell.

@plethoragreen Awesome looking truck. I had originally ordered silver spruce, but the dealer couldn't give me a build date (ordered it in February). I switched to iconic silver to get it sooner, then they closed the plant down. I couldn't win, lol. Love the silver spruce color
