I think you should be able to do whatever the hell you want inside your home as long as you're not trying to sell it to someone. Except making meth, that you have to do somewhere else... Although I've bought many a jar of moonshine in my day...

I used to really get into home brewing and thought the same. Many of my fellow brewers may or may not have made a ‘shine or two.

I mean my cousin could buy all the shit he needed to make a distillery inside his house. But in fairness we are able to buy a whole bunch of "paraphernalia" as long as we say it's for tobacco. I don't know what you can distill besides alcohol/water but maybe that's the loophole
