Just finished up installing an S&B open-style intake on my '20 powerstroke. I noticed they made the restrictor tube (used to decrease the cross sectional area to mimic stock) super easy to take off and put on. I'm curious if anyone has answers to if that piece is required if running AMDP tunes. Ran the truck for a few miles without it with no error codes, but popped it back in just to be safe (got a make a long trip this week).

I forgot all about it myself. Might just need to hit them up and see what they say,

I will say, I was able to go down the road to the store and back with the tube removed without any DTCs thrown. But I'll leave it in.
