Road Armor customer service warning.

I just wanted to give a heads up for anyone looking to order Road Armor bumpers for their Tremors. I ordered a front and rear Evolution bumper back in November because they were running a great black friday deal. Bumpers shipped in in March. When they got here the pallet and bumpers were trashed. I refused shipment because it wasn't a little cosmetic damage. A week or so ago they notify me that they had fixed my bumpers/replaced and were sending them back. My offroad shop calls me and my pallet is destroyed again. Shop tells me the bumpers were not wrapped very good and then the cardboard box around the pallet was damaged the bumpers also got damaged. Emailed Road Armor and was told they were afraid that would happen, and I could wait 180 days for an insurance claim through the transporter while leaving my bumpers on the pallet the entire time, or they would recommend getting a scotch brite pad and over the counter spray and fixing it myself. I understand the shipper is partially at fault but the way they wrap these bumpers is also crap for something that costs almost $5k for the front and back. Just a heads up that if you are wanting a bumper from them, try to get it from a local shop to save yourself some headache.

Wow, that's a bummer and really bad attitude from their side. Reminds me of my disastrous Chassis Unlimited rear bumper experience. Too bad it is so hit or miss sometimes with these vendors.

$5k for two bumpers? Are they gold plated? Sorry you have to go through this, but the packaging is the responsibility of whomever packages it for shipping. It doesn’t matter whether they’re bumpers or fine china. It should be able to handle today’s bumbling shipping options. Just cuz they’re bumpers they don’t need to get packaged well? I don’t understand the way people think today. Call me an old fart. Hope you get some resolution…in your favor!
