What are you guys seeing for payload numbers?

I am very aware of how the options effect payload, but considering purchasing a 250, diesel, probably lariat level trim. Would love to get a feel for the payload numbers and compare it to a 350.

Thanks!

Search "Payload" and you will get a lot of info already posted elsewhere. Also try "Door sticker" to get relevant answers. Here is a good thread with lots of door stickers:

Thanks!

I had searched "payload" but really did not see many examples of actual numbers.

Somewhere in the 16 pages of that thread (I think it is in that one) is a nice summary one of the other members compiled. I'll post it here since it probably has what you need:

Awesome!

Interesting that on the 250, going from gas to diesel, you loose 150-200 lbs.

On a 350, gas to diesel you loose 400-500 lbs.

Diesel engine is much heavier than gas

Certainly. My point was the difference between the 250 and 350 when changing from gas to diesel.

You would think that is the diesel was XXX heavier, then the payload difference would be that number wether a 250 or 350

That is due to the differences in GVWR. 800lbs on 250 btw gas and diesel, 200lbs on 350. Check out @soop table summarizing this:
