OBD II Port failing to power Banks gauges intermittently

Has anyone had random failures when starting their truck with the OBDII port loading any accessories? I have a Banks gauge pod and pedal monster that perhaps 1 out of 50 times will not load - they just are black like the power is not flowing. If I unplug and plug them back in they load. It's similar to how CarPlay does not load randomly on the infotainment screen.

It's not a HUGE deal, but I was curious if anyone else has experienced this.

My banks every once in a while doesn’t turn on when I start the truck, I hit one of the arrow buttons and it wakes up

I don't remember if I had tried a button. That's a good idea, and much more convenient to do while driving.
