No Block Heater / Cold Climate

Agree…just some fuel additive with cold weather / anti gel protection and you’ll be fine.just make sure to add it in time to run it through your fuel system. I’ve been in -18 degree before with no engine heater and treated fuel with XPD. Truck took 2 turns to start but fires up

Cold idling to”warm up” the engine is useless and probably does more harm than good. Oil delusion can occur with extended cold idling. Fill up with winterized local truck stop fuel and drive it till warm if it makes you feel better. Temps above zero aren’t that big a deal anyway.
This time of year, he'll be fine. It's been really warm lately. Which can mean a huge storm is just around the corner.

Your good man only thing I’d do was already said run the tank down as low as you can and fill up when you get there they should be on winter blend fuel then drive a bit to get that through the system after that I’d be more concerned about the batteries it’s a 22 have you changed the factory batteries out yet ?

Winter blend fuel is already out in the world in most areas. Typically found as early as October depending on your service area of course. There's no need to "run down" the fuel level in a tank, just fill as needed with no worries adding in any of your favorite fuel additive.

I wouldn’t think there is any reason to start it everyday. Park it ‘till you’re ready to leave and then start ‘er up. No need to put idle time or unnecessary runtime on the engine.

Like @HeavyAssault said, no reason to run down the tank if you don’t have to. Get yourself some anti-gel (whatever brand you want) to add to your fuel before you get there and if you have to, fill up with the local winter fuel when needed. I would bet as soon as you get north of Flagstaff you’re going to be in the “winter fuel zone” anyhow.

Batteries are as fresh as can be. Just put in new ones 2 months ago before a big trip.
They are a maintenance item for me. I never wait for them to die.

I have a 25 350 Tremor with the 6.7 and haven’t needed to plug in yet. Live in Northern Indiana and has started just fine at -9 already. Didn’t really like it but it went pretty well. Don’t trust gas station fuel so I always add a little Power Service to be safe

They’ll start without plugging it in but that’s not really the issue it’s much easier on the engine if everything is around 60* instead of bellow zero
