Morning everyone. My name is Curtis.
I don't have a Tremor yet. Trying to figure if its the right super duty to pull my 27' toy hauler with gvwr of 10,600lbs. Looking to future proof so I don't go thru what I did with my tundra.

Also, if not buying a Tremor Package truck, then you want an F350. If wanting the Tremor Package, it adds the "Greater than 10,000 lb GVWR Package" comprising the rear leaf spring pack and an 11.6" Sterling axle, blurring the line between and F250 Tremor and an F350 Tremor.

The F350 Tremor gives, "on paper"/your driver door jamb vehicle data plate an additional 500 lbs GVWR over an F250 Tremor but, again, when built as Tremor Package trucks the two are nearly identical.

For any bumper-pull trailer tongue weight exceeding 900-ish pounds you probably want a WDH just to put a little weight back onto your steer tires. That's about it. Even the Godzilla gas engine with just half the torque output of the mighty Powerstrokes pulls really well. 500 lb/ft of torque is all we had to drag trailers with across the country just 25 years ago. The Powerstroke only makes this even more pleasant.

Welcome to the coolest forum around Curtis. @Apples hits it on the head. My sweetheart tows my 17,500+ 5th wheel regularly without a second thought. 8-10,000+ on the hitch. I am stock everything except the AirLift 7500 bags that keep her level. I also run my stock Duracraps at 40psi when not towing which makes a ton of difference on ride quality.

You’ll be hard pressed to grow out of a SD tow capacity wise. Never say never, though! We haul a 13-14k bumper pull 35’ toy hauler. With the Blue Ox WDH she hauls straight as an arrow.
