New Member, 2025 Tremor

Just signed up after being an avid reader for a year or so, gaining insight before purchasing a loaded 2025 F350 Lariat Tremor with the 6.7. This site was very helpful.

Current rides, besides the Tremor:
1998 Mustang LX coupe (owned since new, awaiting restoration)
2004 Mustang GT convertible
2008 Shelby GT500
2003 Expedition 4WD
2013 Focus ST
2013 C63AMG Mercedes
2016 GLE63s AMG Mercedes

sold a 2008 F150 Lariat and a 1991 E350 (convered to a 13 foot stake bed) to help fund the purchase of the Tremor.

The Tremor is a loaded F350 Lariat with the Ultimate package in Avalanche.

Reside in southern CA, but my wife and I are looking to purchase a home in the Spokane WA area and are currently home shopping there.

Four kids, two who are car obsessed like me and two who view cars as appliances. Need to hide keys when the two obsessed ones are around.

So far, mods to the Tremor are some interior bits, lowered the running boards with regular super duty brackets to appease my wife, "tremor" pudde lights, and a tonneau cover and bed extender.

Tremor has already made the trip from Southern CA to Spokane area once and is slated to do so again in a few weeks.

Looking at your current vehicle roster, I’m guessing you don’t have a driveway—you have a full-blown dealership. Seriously, three Mustangs? Way to pony up! It takes a lot of horsepower to manage a stable like that. I’d make a joke about your Mercedes AMGs, but honestly, I just can’t afford to. And selling a 1991 stake bed to fund a 2025 Tremor? Now that’s what I call a high-stakes gamble!

It’s a good thing you went with the F350—with four kids, you’re definitely going to need the extra towing capacity just for all their stuff. As for the two car-obsessed ones, hiding the keys is a smart key decision. If they get their hands on a loaded 6.7L, they'll be exhausting your diesel budget before you can even say "Washington."

Speaking of which, making that SoCal to Spokane commute in a color called Avalanche? Brilliant. You basically bought a 7,000-pound snow camouflage suit for the Pacific Northwest winters.

As for lowering the running boards with standard Super Duty brackets to appease the wife... well, you definitely know how to tread lightly in a marriage! Hey, happy husband, happy life! Just don't let her convince you to lower the suspension next, or we might have to suspend your forum membership while the rest of us are busy lifting our rigs to the moon.
