New Ford retrofit part available: Digital Rearview Mirror. Who's gonna be the first to try it?

For $800 I’ll stick with an oem “look” mounted Wolfbox.
I know they are MSRP listed right now for $800.00 but I would think that when they are actually available (the list out of stock as far as I can see) I would think we would be able to get them in the $550 to $690 rang. However, if they hold at $800 then I will, like you, stick with the Wolfbox unless the Ford version ends up further integrating with the 360 camera system. Although, after looking at the install instructions, it does not appear that it will even tie into the APIM.

It appears as if the install on a Super Duty would be far simpler than the PDF instructions. You can simply run the coaxial cable across the headliner versus across the floor and straight into the CHMSL. Should be a 10-15 minute install. I had this on my 2024 Chevy 2500HD High Country and LOVED it. Was VERY disappointed Ford did not offer it on the 2026 trucks. If I can get one in the $500 range, or blow a wad of points on one, I may just do it. No rush so I'll let the availability and pricing shake out.

Lakeland ford has it listed for $660 on their site.
