He was caught up in a spider web in this garage I am working on. Got him down and cleaned him up and he flew right back up. Extended my measuring tape and he landed on it. I lowered him back down and he finally flew out the door. Have a short video of him in the web but can't upload it directly here so....

Oddly, heights don’t bother me (too) much. Climbing stuff, I’m ok with.
It’s the scaffold, man lift, boom lift…. The shit that moves under you. Like long extension ladders when your quads shake a little. The devils own invention, I tell ya!

We had a pair that were in my wife’s garage. She was leaving for work and called me in a panic because she had to close the door. I told her to open the side door and leave it open. Hope for the best. One made it, the other got caught in a web. It was still alive when I got home but exhausted. I got it cleaned up and put in a box with a towel and some hummingbird food from the neighbor. Poor thing was trying to fly. It died a couple hours later. I’m guessing stress/ exhaustion. Apparently, so I found, they mistake the corn cob LED lights as food flowers when the lights are off. Now, they stay lit when the garage is open.
