Looking to get a front hitch for a removable winch. Mainly because I also have a problem parking my travel trailer in her designated spot because of the length of the truck. Wondering if anyone has done this with the 23-24 tremor and had any issues with the accident avoidance systems. Was on my property the other day backing up and had the "single piece of grass giving me whiplash" issue. Wondering if I am going to have a similar issue with the front hitch attached to the TT.

Probably wouldn’t be an issue if you drove a

Is there a way to turn that nanny nonsense off?

I'm fairly certain you can turn all of it off. I'm interested how you'll approach the front reciever. I'm also planning on doing one (moving camper and aircraft).

I contemplated a front hitch for parking our trailer at our old house, but ended up getting an electric trailer dolly instead.

Which one did you go with? I've looked into a few of those...

The 15k version from Parkit 360. Looks like they have more options now and like everything else, the price has gone up! I think the version I have would be pretty close to the current 15k-bf. It worked ok. Their system didn't work well with my coupler (had a Desert Fox 24AS), so I would attach using the trailer jack leg instead of the ball mount.

I don't know yet🤷
From page 258 of the e-manual pdf for my '23:
SWITCHING REVERSE BRAKE
ASSIST ON AND OFF
1. Press Features on the touchscreen.
2. Press Driver Assistance.
3. Switch Reverse Brake Assist on or off.
Note: The system is unavailable when the
rear parking aid or cross traffic alert is off.
Note: If your vehicle is not equipped with
cross traffic alert the reverse braking assist
relies on input from the rear parking aid and
rear camera sensors.

Brake Assist "Feature" - what in the world?

Hope this helps a bit. I believe the forward brake assist can be turned off in the same manner as well, which would help when using a front facing hitch.
