2024 HO 6.7, around 4k miles. I'm getting a loud buzz or humm around the fuel tank. Started two weeks ago. It is pretty loud when driving slower, to the point that my wife was worried we wouldn't make it home from a trip this weekend.

It is almost always there now, and gets louder when I let off the pedal and coast. Not as loud at idle, but you can still hear it.

Has anyone had this issue or any ideas? I'd rather not take it to the dealer just for a diagnosis, the ones around here are months out and claim to not have loaners.

Only thing I can think of would be the low pressure fuel pump.

Is it always while moving or while stationary as well?

Update- the sound is getting louder. I drove it up to the dealer today and the shop foreman listened to it. He thinks it's a plugged up filter. They are going to change them out Monday and see if it fixes it.

Got under the truck and it's 100% at the fuel tank. The whole thing is vibrating harshly

Last Update- changed the fuel filters and the sound went away.

Glad it was an easy fix.

I was going to say, it is 100% the lifter pump making the noise.
