LED headlight adjustment

I like your strategy to keep it simple. Some on this thread have said turn the screw clockwise to lower and others counterclockwise to lower. Which direction did you turn the screw to lower the beam?
I didn't, I will... because I was looking for clockwise or counterclockwise ;)

When it's getting dark I will try counterclockwise, THANKS!!!!!!

Check at 2:15.

Not my video…

Thanks!!!
Than it's clockwise... ;)

I just tried it but the screws are very tight.... I am afraid to break it.

I follow the advise in the video and let a dealer try it.

The screws in the video at a different place than at my car.

If you compare your video with this video: 2021 Ford F-350. How to reaim or readjust LED headlights. Ford superduty
the screws at different spots in the truck.
Yea, his truck is not identical. I remember the adjustment screws being tight as well. As I did it they popped a bit and then worked.

I went to another Ford dealer because of a defective passenger mirror.
I ask 5 people if the can just loose the tight plastic screws in order I can adjust it myself.
NOBODY will touch this screws....?!?!?
Everybody told me, they have to find an expert to adjust the light/loose the screws.
And I need a new appointment.... it's only 100 Miles back and for... (Sarcasm off)

I have never heard of such ridiculousness. Can you post a photo of the screw in question?

Here are the screws for the adjustment, kind of hidden:

The screws get tight when they are at the end of their adjustment range. The screws and the nuts are just plastic, and there is not much adjustment. If the screws are tight, turn them the other way to see if they were bottomed out. You don't need a special Ford procedure to adjust the headlights. If you tow a lot, set them even and low enough that you are not blinding oncoming traffic. You can stop with the truck pointing toward a wall or garage door to see if they are even in height, and you can measure the height of the light cut-off point and compare that to your light fixtures on the truck. They should not be pointing up. My truck, with 1000 lbs of tongue weight from the trailer, raised the lights enough that they cannot be lowered far enough with the adjusters to stop blinding oncoming traffic. I had to install some overloads to get the lights down lower.

I went to the Ford dealer Alexander in Yuma, Arizona, and the dealer refused to loosen the stuck bolts.
I told them the bolts were very tight and asked them to loosen them, but Franzisco Duarte told me they wouldn't touch anything if they could break it.
Next Ford dealer with bad experiences. So far, only(!) bad experiences with about five different Ford dealers.
One Ford dealer even stole my 3-ton floor jack from my bed while my truck was in their shop for 3 hours.

Thanks for this thread! I've been getting flashed by almost every car at night since my Carli kit went on. Going to fix that tonight!
