Lazy Guy Car Wax

No, its not a new brand. If it was I would probably try it.

I haven’t washed a car in years. I have the kids do it or take it through the drive thru car wash at the gas station. I see people writing about ceramic coating and think that looks great but it appears to be more work than I have time for.

I’m looking for suggestions on good products to apply and forget about for a few months. Something that water will bead up on and allow the drive thru a fighting chance to get the dust and dirt off of. I’m willing to spend the time on the application but know life will get in the way of regular time consuming care.

Any ideas? The truck is a few weeks out and I figure I’ll get it waxed up, sealed, or whatever when I get it before it gets dirty.
So you don’t want to keep it clean yourself and now you want people to figure out how to do it for you too. To each their own…have fun with that.

Gone through one bottle of Nexgen in a year. I've done the car and the Tremor at least a couple of times and the front cap of the TT. It definitely makes it easier to clean the bugs off after a road trip. For the money and ease of application it's definitely worth it.
Thank you

W-41 Yellow Wax.

All it is is wax. No cleaners, no fillers. Pretty much 100% carnauba. I can wax the whole car and then buff it out. It doesn't get hard to buff out at all. For my cars, I wash, claybar, and then wax. Plus, it smells great.

I am having fun with it. Using the Internet to learn from others actions is interesting and efficient way to help determine how to get things done.

I've been using the NextGen stuff and machine car wash for over a year now with good results.

The lazy approach wins here.

Now, if I can find a good product for the wheels......

Expensive ceramic works best on wheels I hear.

OK I go to the car wash (hear EVERYone in the forum screaming). Then I hand wax...I am not lazy...but wax is killing my back.

Mothers or Maguires gold class carnuba are my choice.....BUT

you need a professionally applied ceramic........you only have to wash after that for like the next 5 years......

If you WANT to wax 3 times a year...I have found Chemical Guys "Butter" carnuba wax goes on like warm butter....and comes off like so easy....it is a breeze and very quick to apply on these monsters.....

I highly recommend!!!!!

Got mine ceramic coated when new, no more waxing for me. I've been fully impressed with the ceramic coating and highly recommend.
