In search of rapid red front and rear bumpers.

Also looking for front and rear bumpers for carbonized grey.

I took off chrome and put on painted bumpers on my 2015. I bought new take-off XL trim bumpers for $100 each from a local junkyard then had the body shop paint them the correct color. It was much easier than finding them the correct color, especially with a premium (and somewhat rare) color like Rapid Red.

I'm worried about it peeling. Being rapid red is a tricoat and the paint is super expensive it's 400ish to paint bumper, plus sand blasting

Don't overthink it. My bumpers lasted 7 years / 130,000 miles with no problems. No chips, no peeling, no rust. No sandblasting is required. Leave the OEM paint and use it as a primer, then paint the rest on top of it.

I called a few shops and none wanted to spray over chrome without it being sand or media blasted. It will also be a plow/salt truck

Thus my suggestion to buy XL bumpers that are painted and paint them instead. It looks like you need to go back and read what I wrote again. Painting over chrome is not smart.

Then find a painted bumper off a higher trim truck that has fog lights. That's still 10,000X more probable to find than the exact color you need.
