Can someone test a 7.3 gas 23 or 24 tremor at 75 mph using a decibel level app?

My bronco and 12 f350 are at 73-74 DBs running 75 mph. The f350’s tires are on the last 5k, new tires are 70-72 DBs. I’m hoping my 24 tremor will be quieter.

I think TFL just did a test on a platinum tremor and it and it was 70 something decibels if I recall.

Here's one TFL video, towing up the IKE with gas and diesel Tremors; sound tests at 11:40 for Diesel and 27:40 for Gas.

I don't have scientific results, just the ear test. My '23 7.3 is quieter than my '21 was. Both are way quieter than our '21 Bronco by far.

Thanks. 61 DBs isn’t bad for 60 in 5th gear towing a skid steer.

#1 noise producer will be the tires. Swap around brands/tread type if it really bothers you.
#2 will be the motor. Any mods can make "more interior" noise (better/worse are personal opinions).

I just rotated tires...damn they are loud. If a loud truck bothers you, you might find yourself ripping out the interior and door panels to layer on some sound mat.

Is your bronco a hardtop or soft top?

Tread design & remaining tread depth is everything regarding sound level at increasing speeds. Got rid of the factory Duratrac's simply because I could not handle the noise on the concrete highways anymore. Was measuring 79 dB w/ 10,000 miles at 80 mph with the Duratrac's and only 62 dB with new Yokohama Geolander A/T G015 tires at 80 mph. Even my wife was like "why is our truck so much quieter" ? Then I installed a cat-back exhaust, but left the front resonator to eliminate drone, and the wife did comment "there is less road noise now, but I can hear the engine (exhaust) a little more". I just shook my head like I wasn't sure why she could hear the engine (exhaust) more. 😂

Thanks. I’ll miss the bronco but not the wind noise on the highway.
