Headlight adjustment

I did a reverse level and airbags a while back and when adjusting the headlights the adjuster on the passenger side light broke off.
Looking at this now as I’m starting to drive it more at night. It’s not my daily. Also looking into aux lighting, just need these headlights adjusted down.

From what I’ve found is the adjuster is a cable that goes around to the bottom of the assembly. Is there a way to remove the headlight and adjust it where the cable attaches? Can it be done without having to buy a 1k headlight?
I found a new headlight for sale local but if I can just remove mine, adjust it and reinstall, that would be great.
Any insight?

Of course right after I make this post I found another post on a different forum about this same issue from several years ago. I’ll try to tackle this tomorrow and update.

Well the post I found was for the 17-19 factory LEDS.
I was able to get them adjusted. Removed the air box to gain access. I adjusted the low beams first then the high beam. They high beam ran out of adjustment or just quit turning but it’s close enough to the driver side.

Also ran into another issue I seen in an older post on this forum. Started it up and it immediately went into high idle and no AC. Ac compressor was not engaging. Fuses were good and even disconnected both batteries for about an hour.

Waited until the next morning and now the AC works like before.

Were you adjusting OE LED projectors or the Halogen?

I ask as I know how to adjust my OE LEDs but the High/Low beam are not seperate adjustments.

did you remove the intake and disconnect the maf? anytime you disconnect the maf the system goes through some type of relearn before all that stuff works again. Learned this from S&B after i did my intake install.

Yes OEM LED’s. The factory adjustment is a cable that goes it both the high and low adjustment. My adjustment completely broke off near the top. I adjusted the low beam first directly at the back of the housing and then adjusted the high beam after. I believe it was a 9mm Allen

Yes I had to remove the factory air box to get to the headlight adjustments. Any idea how long the relearn takes? It was about 10 hours later and everything worked.
Just wondering in you’re on the road and have to disconnect it for some reason, are you just stuck without AC until it sits overnight?

i think it's only like 10-15minutes. I did my intake then left the house to go run errands, thought i left something unplugged, pulled over checked connections, saw everything connected, was annoyed bc no ac, but needed to finish my errands and then like 10-15minutes later it all fired back up. Then i either asked the question here, googled, or maybe I called S&B and found out that it was normal. Something to do with maf relearn values and additional load when the AC system is commanded.
