So I still have this sitting in a box. And am now debating one of the antenna mount options up there (as a VHF/UHF since I have the GMRS on the midland lip mount on the hood). Having just played with it - I dont think any of the brackets (including Bullet proof diesel) or the $$ offroad alliance new one (assume no as it has the lights mounted) would work in tandem with this? Debating whats better what I have in hand an another antenna mount vs just selling and changing plans. I dont love the height and not ideal ground plane, but its probably the best place to park an antenna mount.
