Fordsync4. Not many on this forum should really need this information as I'm certain most of you have the 12" display. My goal with my 2026 XLT Reg Cab is to convert it as close to a Tremor as possible. Long story short, I have the F diff, which is the biggest $$$ portion of this project. For those lurking around with an 8" then hear me out.
However, My XLT only is available with the 8" screen. Trying not to spend $2600 (infotainment) I opted to try the Fordsync4 version when it was on sale. Around $1525 total.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!! Zero support. Please keep in mind I went through the paces trying to get it to work. Components were not labeled Ford or Motorcraft just to mention. Everything fit good to better, looked factory once installed. I thought all along this process maybe my truck was a little new for their programing.
Long story short, way too many bugs, my 360 camera system had several glitches, and many of the other functions would wig out, turn blank, etc. With little to no communication I opted to phone my CC company. I don't do stuff like that however in this situation, that is the path I took.
In the end I was able to return the kit and was credited back on my CC.
Not certain if I will go down that Infotainment path right away as I'm in the middle of several other modifications etc to this project. Time will tell. The 12" should come in all F250's hands down.
