When you say original AMP boards, what exactly do you mean? You do know that factory OEM power running boards are NOT made by AMP?

Yes I meant “amp style” power running boards

These are Original Ford Power Steps off my rig , just like the Amps.

Do they integrate with the stock system that did not come from factory with power running boards? What are you asking for them? In in Solano County…

I have amp Xtreme on order…anyone know the benefit of factory over the amps?

Should be able to look that up but what year and model/trim options did you buy?

I believe that option might already have the pre wiring done and might be plug and play ,

If you look under your door sides, like near the Power stroke badging then directly underneath your truck you will see a plug with a wire coming through and a white plug in the end. I have a pic here. It might be wrapped up or looped up if you have it and it’s not in use. This is after I unplugged my factory steps

Yes, it’s a point not immediately obvious i too was under the assumption that they are AMP rebranded boards until someone with direct knowledge explained that OEM boards are produced by a different manufacturer.
