Hey all,
Since the truck will be here within the next couple of weeks I figured I should go ahead and start my build thread. This truck is going to be built slightly differently than most I have seen on the forum.
Main uses of the truck will be:
-Search and rescue for sheriff's dept.
-long distance travel (have started to hate flying)
-towing to include campers, boats, enclosed, vehicles and a few stock trailers here and there.

As ordered the truck is a 2022 f350 6.7 lariat tremor.
-atlas blue SAP.
-bench seat.
-lariat value package.

As soon as the truck lands I will post pictures. Modifications currently are including bumpers, topper, wheels and tires, suspension and a few SAR related items. As it progresses I will of course post pictures and updates.

EXP626 as in experiment 626

Cheers!
Your friendly neighborhood SAR tech

Cool! It is always nice to see something a bit different. Look forward to seeing your progress...

Excited to see your build, sounds like it will have some good and unique things. Has your truck showed up yet?

It is currently sitting in a rail yard about 4 hours away. So soon enough

First modifications made to the truck. SAR plate rider and swapped to the chrome lariat wheels! May or may not be a temporary fix till my wheels get here.

I love that blue. I'm so torn between the AMB and Atlas. Don't think I could go wrong with either.
What I can tell you is. I've seen this color on two trucks. Mine and a regular lariat. And honestly I wouldn't have liked it as much without the SAP

I'm going Platty so unless they add the BAP(confirmed on the 2022 F150), it will most likely be chrome until I swap things out.

Honestly I'm kinda upset with myself. Because I love the way it looks now. The build will take the look a completely different direction and now I'm having second thoughts but I've already bought everything 🤣🤣

first modificationade! Swapped out to morimoto XB lighting. So far love the lights and the look honestly is way better than expected. Aside from the stupid plastic clips in the grille install was not terribly difficult.

parts are slowly trickling in. Wheels and tires will go on as soon as the Carli lift is on. Centramatics on standby. According to CO these wheels were beard balanced so I'm interested to see how that works with the centramatics. Came with TPMS sensors so will need to see how those interface with the truck as well.
Until next time!

Bushwhacker fender flares have gone on the truck. Honestly looks way better than I thought. Black rihno Abrams wheels 17x19.5 -18 offset.

Alignment complied with. For those wondering, with the Carli 2.5 commuter. Use the shims and align to factory specs.

Banks intake went on today. Honestly it's a very well built unit and was incredibly easy going on. Son broke his arm riding his bike in the middle of it and was able to get it done and buttoned up before mom got him to the ER. Aside from the broken arm (which wasn't mentioned in the install video) would recommend.
