Equipment Trailers

About a year ago, I was kind of looking around and dealers were a little below msrp from the website.
When I ordered in July, yes, my dealer was also a bit under the MSRP on the Diamond C website. I paid about $8k out the door prior to the price increase. I wanted to add a few little things after my order was in, but after they announced a price increase. Diamond C told my dealer if I added anything, they would adjust the price to current rates. I said no way. That kind of sucked. I think in normal times, people may be able to negotiate more, but just like most industries, supply/demand, I don't think there's much wiggle room for now

That is awesome they let you lock in a price, many of the dealers I spoke to on other brands would not garontee price due to no knowing what the material surcharge was going to be at time of production. The DC was out of budget and almost a year out when they quoted me so didn’t ask about locking in that price at time of order. With today’s trailer pricing would not have been as much of a stretch on the budget though.

I appreciate the info. It'll be a while yet before I order one, but that'll be a starting point when the time comes.

The GTF is looks really awesome. I'd like to have one to haul my cars to shows and maybe a couple of side by sides someday.

I currently have a 2017 Diamond C 22' HDT 14k GVWR and love it so much I am upgrading to an 18k GVWR. Ill be picking my new one up next week and this one will be for sale...

If you're on the price sensitive side check out Carson trailers in CA. They build reputable trailers for the price. I don't think they have dealerships in NM but it's not a terrible drive from NM to CA.

Except that time my moving truck broke down in Tucumcari... that was a pretty miserable drive.

Couple questions on the Diamond C LPX. Is the tongue storage box lockable? Is there extra room for straps/binders etc with the spare tire in there? Is the battery for the winch in there too? Looking forward to more pics. Thanks
Yes, you can lock it and TONS of room. I will get pics tomorrow. The battery is in there, it also charges via the trailer connection to the vehicle and also you can plug it in to a wall.

A few more. The deck is a prototype composite they are testing and not available yet. The front tool boxis the biggest i have seen. Tons of stuff in there plus the spare. The winch is available now I believe, charges from the truck connector, has a remote and folds down.

That’s killer man, I talked to a Diamond C dealer today and they tried to push me into a trailer they had on the lot, but I’m going to special order one with that pop up winch solution. They said it’d take 6 months hoping I’d go for one on the lot.

I’m already waiting on the Tremor so I can wait for a new Diamond C too!!

Thanks! The winch setup is pretty awesome. Ordering online is the best to get what you want. Call a few dealers maybe some get it sooner than later. Try Spencer trailer sales in Indiana, they are HUGE Diamond C dealer.

I'll second a Carson Hauler. A great trailer for the price. Mine does exactly what it's supposed to do. I just wish I would have picked up a 10K instead of the 7K that was available. It's loaded to the max most of the time.

Well that is just cool as shit!!!

I have A felling 20K that is 25 feet long and a Midsota 22K with super singles and hydraulic tongue that is 22 feet. Primary tow rig is my F-550 dump but trying to break everything in :-)
Have towed both with the tremor, pulls them with ease. Probably the only brands of trailer I would buy besides a diamond C, I really like their tilt decks where the tongue storage height is flush with the deck so you get an extra couple feet at the V.

Any opinions on MaxxD trailers? I'm looking at one of their car haulers available here locally. Specifically the N6X

Anyone been running a midsota trailer? I'm stuck between them and a Diamond C. 14k hydraulic tilt.
