Does this steering wheel have heat?

I bought a steering wheel on eBay as a donor to have modified - not sure what this wire is, but it looks like it goes behind the leather for heating. Could be wrong and it's for something else but if so cool bonus!

It said no heat in the description, it was from a salvage place so maybe they’re didn’t have the correct details. Just not sure what else that wire could be

Maybe they were looking for a dash button to base that on and of course if it was a 20 or 21 there was no button, and if they didn't start the truck they didn't see the screen either when in fact the truck did have it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Speculation of course

It was off of a 19’

i can't think of what else would run wires into the leather besides heat. if it doesn't though i think i have a platinum wheel with heat in the garage

@Modman moved from non-heat to heated. He may remember when looking at his during the conversion.

from what the shop who's doing it said it doesnt matter either way as he adds a new heating element. But I at least now I have the correct clock spring, just need to get that heated steering wheel controller.
