Yeah, it's extremely simpleGarage doors with openers are required to have a manual release on the inside. If you search on google for the firemans tool you will see how easy they are to make or buy. Once you pop that release the door opens manually. Although one could simply open the door with a simple program and a transmitter (see hackrf or similar radio tools) in under a couple of seconds as well. If someone wants in your house its not that hard either pick the lock, break a window, or use a screwdriver to pop a lock on a window or sliding glass door.
Here is one video showing how it is done, although you don't need to pop the panel out for the tool to work though.
Best method I've used over the years, install a dead bolt in the interior garage to house steel door and reinforce the door jamb and hinges. Install security camera that records non stop with notifications pushed to alert of movement. You can also add a siren that goes off if say someone breaches the interior house to garage door with those magnetic sensors. You can also go with a simplisafe or ring system if you want something quick and easy. While not perfect, they would give you enough time to exercise your RIGHTS as long as you're not located in a jurisdiction that doesn't allow these rights to be exercised
