Debating switching to a Used 2022 F250 Tremor Lariat 7.3L, from a 2022 F150 Tremor 3.5L

I could take my hands off the wheel towing and it has no tracking issues.
That's exactly how I feel when towing anything with my truck (22 F250 Tremor). Including our TT which is ~8500lbs, 31' overall ready to camp. Feels very solid, tracks straight, etc.

I totally believe what you're saying, though. Others on here have had vastly different experiences similar to both yours and mine. 🤷‍♂️ Makes me wonder what is different, or if it's a build up of several factors.

Full agreement. Nowadays, there does seem to be more of a "luck of the draw" factor buying new vehicles. I really do like my F-250, which is my first Ford product. I had the A/C failure over the dead of the summer, which was quite aggravating, but otherwise every has worked properly. I have been holding off on mods to make sure I am keeping it, but I think I am there.

I think it's because the Super Duty front suspension is prone to changing caster based on ride height, which only gets worse with increasing tongue weight. Tire selection is also a major factor. While I agree Ford should have increased caster from the factory, particularly on the Tremor, these are solvable problems and make a gigantic difference. It's very concerning when anyone thinks a 1/2 ton tows better than a 3/4+ ton.
