I haven't taken my Tremor out there yet. My dad lives in Chandler by Pima Park and Sanborn Elementary. Probably seen you driving when I have visited.

The only reason that I'm entering is because I think this might help someone with this problem. I have the factory 5th prep option and I have always run a rubber bed mat in every truck I've owned. I like how it keeps things from sliding around easily. I've never had a truck with a 5th hitch before so I had to come up with a solution if I wanted to keep the mat. The cost to do this is free if you already own the right size hole saw, which I did. I can't recall the exact size but I believe it was 4¼". Just make your measurements, mark your mat, then drill. Voila....... a rubber mat that you can still use your 5th wheel prep kit with.

Well, idk, that winch on @Optimus🤖 truck is a hard act to follow.

My mods are generally hidden and have multiple points of interaction as a result of my own creations. Here's one:

Upfitters and spotlights, connected to external peripherals, modified to "always active" status with built in dummy alarms, timers, and lights indicating the "stupid factor". (Forgot to turn them off, close the tailgate, etc.) Unlimited current capabilities of any of the switches by adding relays. The more the merrier.

Control boxes:

What it does:
Audible and visual indicators to show when Upfitters and spotlight left on or tailgate left open, before exiting or driving away without remembering. Also interfaces with other peripherals such as the charger in the bed, front camera (Garmin) power receptacles around outside of truck to keep the operator aware of what is on.

Truth table:
*Ignition on, turn upfitter or spotlight switch on to control all external lights, charger, external power sockets, etc.: No sound or LED.
*Any Upfitter or spotlight switch on, turn ignition off: Audible alarm for 3 seconds and continuous flashing "obvious" LED (In the window or dash) until switch turned off. (Reason to have LED flashing: you may want to leave the switch on and not hear the alarm the whole time but would like to see visually before leaving the truck. Conditions like working with the lights focused on a subject.)
*Tail gate open: bright flashing light on dash as visual indicator, no sound.
*Tailgate open and ignition started: Audible alarm for 3 seconds and flashing LED until tailgate closed.
*Conditions are the same for any peripheral operated by the upfitters or spotlight switches.

Not really a "mod" and not an entry. @AZsurveyor recommend this to me a while back and it is one of my favorite things in my truck. I also use it for my kids on long trips so they can watch a movie/show together

I added custom leather wraps on the A and B pillar handles and hand stitched them on in a baseball stitch pattern. This used to be a factory item on the King Ranch trim but has been since omitted. I think they came out well and I am no leather expert. I rotated the stitches then to the inside. I did this soon after I bought the truck and they are holding up well. If anyone is interested - YES leather needles are sharp.

Love it! The most unique would be @Vermonster simply by the fact that his name doesn't start with "Mod".

Hard to decide on the most interesting, but I will submit this one for consideration.

It is a new design that I have been working on with Stan at @FunctionFirstDesign for his up fitter guard.

This updated design is lighted and uses the same Switch Pros labels as my controller.

It is super clean, and really makes the up fitter switches easier to use, especially at night.

And before you ask, the second switch in from the right is for my Starlink. No one makes a Starlink or even a WiFi label. This was the closest thing I could find.
