CCV Replacement | '23+ Version or Not?

What is the benefit to the upgrade?

No filter, better flow. I changed mine out on my 21, which did not have a filter. I was going to vent to atmosphere, but my friends son who is a diesel tech at a ford dealer talked me into the 23 plus box. Easy swap!

Just installed a 23+ on my '18. Install was surprisingly easy (2 rear bolts removal on factory CCV was the hardest).

Got my from Levittown for I think ~$85 + shipping.

I replaced the CCV box on my 21, my stock box didn't have a filter either. I wonder if the dealers started pulling the filters when the upper oil pan leaks started?
