Can someone with a Carli 4.5” system and 38’s (37 should work too) get a measurement from the top of the hitch receiver to the ground?
Trying to pick a weigh safe drop hitch and need some more intel. Thank you!

8" or 10" Weigh safe would be the two choices. I have an 8" drop Weigh safe on my bone stock Tremor.

Hopefully someone will chime in with your exact configuration but, in case they don’t:

I have 37s and a Carli 2.5” commuter. The change in the rake of the truck actually negated the extra tire at the hitch/tailgate. I think a reasonably safe assumption for your truck would be 2.5” taller than stock at the hitch (2” body lift, 0.5” from the tire radius).

Edit: Corrected the lift height

I’m thinking the Carli with 4.5 and 38’s will require a 10” weigh safe drop but I don’t want to get anything longer than necessary.

I just bought the Gen Y hitch for my factory suspension tremor. They said hitch height minus 14" so I ended up getting the 9" drop. I'd think you'd probably want the 10" Weigh Safe given your lift and tires.

You're going to be doing a lot of scraping with a 9" drop on a stock Tremor.

If you have not already purchased - keep in mind the weigh safe 10" is a 12" bar - with 10" of travel up/down - the 8" is a 10" bar with 8" of up/down travel.

I have an 8" with stock Tremor - with the 8" in the down position - it is 10" off the ground- I am going Cali 2.5 with 37's - I think the 8" will still be fine for my needs. If I had 10" - it would only be 8" off ground - too low for stock - if you add 3.5" for your lift over stock - it will be 11.5" off the ground. My rule of thumb is I don't want the bottom of my hitch to be lower than the ground clearance of the truck.

Given you are going with 4.5 and 38's - I think you will be fine with either hitch - 10" will give you more flexibility.
