Brake Noise

This is my 1st HD truck. Coming from an F150 Tremor. There is a bit of a clunk sound when changing from park to drive/drive to reverse etc. The brakes make a bit of a noise when applying pressure at stop lights, or as I'm release the brake pedal from a stop. I dont really hear anything until I'm close to full compression. The truck has 56000KM. The braking is very good, I'm actually impressed by the braking on the vehicle. I dont notice any wheel shake or any lack in the brake when applying the brake pedal, so I think the pads are in good shape?

Do these trucks have noisy brakes? Would upgrading to better pads fix the issues? I dont think its a safety concern, just a bit annoying.
