Doing my brakes this weekend. Going with Powerstop with the solid rotors not the drilled and slotted. Since I’m in there I was going to drain / flush the brake fluid since the truck is 2 1/2 years old and 80k miles. So the question is…..
Is there a legit difference in the brand of brake fluid? Is spending a few bucks more going to be any benefit over the Motorcraft fluid? Also, how much do I need to buy? I skimmed the through the owners manual and didn’t see anything about the amount of fluid you need to flush and fill.
Any help would be appreciated. I tried searching the forum but didn’t get any hits on this info.
