Probably normal. I assume you have the ignition on and not running and it simply times out. Since you have a MY27, I don't know what the full algorithm is for shut down. In most vehicles, it is a "timed" function that determines when the vehicle shuts down, not necessarily a low battery. There are different areas that will shut down if you have the ignition on for an extended period to "save" the battery. This can also happen if you are idling for an extended period. This happens in my MY22 as well. In my case, it will time out after about 15-20 minutes. (Been a long time since actually I timed it.)
I'm good, it was the 1st day (and 2nd) with my new 2027 going through all the cab setup screens and buttons. Much is done with ignition on, but w/o running the engine. It times out often, but it appears to be normal. I ran the battery charger to keep the battery in good shape. My first Ford, everything is set now after figuring out going button-by-button what needed to be done. Ford only provides a small, very generic owners guide. I was just venting a bit.While you tell me what is happening, I don't see a "why". I don't really follow what you are doing. Is this truck just parked there?? Are you under the hood doing mods with the Accessory power ON????
There is a full manual inside the infotainment system.... It's great for when you're trying to set something up on the screen whilst trying to read what you need to do on the same screen
