My truck has not had any issues with the backup camera, but when I went in for the routine maintenance this morning they said they were going to perform a software update and do the recall. I reluctantly agreed.
They called me this afternoon and said they were getting a fault from the camera module, but did not specify what it was, and said they will need to keep the truck longer until they get a reply from ford on how to troubleshoot the problem.
I have the Navtv camera in motion module that has been in the truck since 2020, has anyone else with the Navtv module had issues when they perform the recall? Not sure if its an issue or not, but after the call I remembered that the module is there and started wondering if it might cause an issue with their software update.
