One thing I hate about the Super Duties I have had is that the doors don't unlock when you put the truck in park. This is very annoying. Every time I jump out to open the back door or the tailgate the doors are locked. Is there a way to have the doors unlock when you put the thing in park? My 2004 GMC did it correctly but my 2008 F350, 2012 F250, 2017 F250 and now my 2021 F350 all do it wrong.

It is a difference in Ford vehicles compared to other brands. If one is used to the other brands' lock program the Ford program is something to get used to. The auto lock feature can be turned off in the settings if that works better for you. I think some folks would prefer for safety reasons that the doors not unlock when the car is put in park and still running and I can certainly understand that. It is frustrating to get out with truck running and get to the other side and find the door or tail gate locked. Just have to get accustomed to hitting the unlock button before exiting if you like the auto lock feature on.
